We are very excited to now have in stock Not your daughters Tummy Tuck jeans that enhance a womans silhouette by shaping the hips and smoothing the tummy.

So, how does it work? The magic denim flattens the tummy with clever engineering and a fashionably higher cut waist. The criss-cross panel at the front combined with the stretchy lifting panel at the rear and special pockets create a corset like effect minus the uncomfortable restricted feeling.

To celebrate our first birthday we staged a mini fashion show to give customers a taste of the key looks for the season.

As usual at our events we had a lot of fun trying on different outfits and giving each other feedback and advice on the best shapes and styles.

We also raised £75 for Macmillan Cancer Support – our chosen charity of the year – bringing the total this year to £250.

As a special treat Scarlett Monroe organised a ’shape’ evening in our beautiful Marlow store for all of our lovely customers to come and enjoy. The event was both fun and informative with some top tips from the experts.

• Body shape - The Scarlett Monroe team showed how different shapes flatter different body types.
• Face and neckline shape - Lynne Nicoll, principal at ‘The Style Alchemist, showed the interplay between your face and neckline.
• Eye brow shape - Deborah Egan, permanent cosmetic artist, showed us how the right shape can make a dramatic difference.

We all enjoyed some wine and nibbles and having been inspired everyone had fun playing with the clothes and different looks.

We also held a raffle in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and Connect (the communication disability organization). Two lucky ladies won a free styling session, cut and colour at Haringtons valued at £80 and also £150 of vouchers to spend at Scarlett Monroe.

Recent graduate and printed textile designer Sasha Jane has created a collection of printed silk scarves especially for Scarlett Monroe. These hand made, bespoke scarves will add a flash of colour and excitement to any outfit. Sasha Jane has already sold some of her designs to top high street names so watch this space!

Alison Van Der Lande
Based in Sussex, Alison Van Der Lande creates gorgeous eye catching hand bags made in exquisite colours with Italian leather all handcrafted in Italy.

Come and visit us in store to have a play with our lovely and very individual treasures and maybe even treat yourself.
Any of our bespoke accessories would make a wonderful gift and we will happily gift wrap it for you free of charge.

We have it on very good authority from the magic knicker shop that to achieve a smooth silhouette Spanx higher power magic knickers are the thing!
